YURI worked with PBS WETA to edit and upload educational resources for the 5-hour film series, Asian Americans onto PBS Learning Media, an educational digital platform. These teaching activities are paired with over 30 film clips that highlight the many diverse experiences and stories of the Asian American community, reflecting the long history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders spanning hundreds of years in the U.S.
Asian Americans is a landmark documentary series that premiered on PBS in May 2020 and was produced by Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and WETA. Told through personal narratives, the films illustrate how Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have been an interconnected part of shaping the U.S.
