This workshop developed for teens in F.O.R., a junior sports association for Asian American youth in South Bay Los Angeles, CA, to help them decide on personal and community goals. Through a combination of interactive activities, videos, and games, participants engaged in community building exercises and reflected on who they are, what it means to be Asian American, and how they connect with the world around them. They observed how athletes and others lead and contemplated the following: What does it mean to be a leader and why lead? Who might I become to impact my world?
